Car crashes

After the crash, the paperwork begins

A collision on the interstate, at a Beach intersection or in a Newport News parking lot starts two things at once: your recovery and a claim.

You shouldn’t have to run both alone. We handle the calls with the insurers, collect your records, and wait to talk numbers until your doctors know where you’re headed.

If the other driver’s company offers money early, you can say you’re not ready. We’ll tell you whether the offer fits what you’ve been through.

  • Calls with the insurers are ours to make

  • Repair and rental questions answered

  • No settlement talk before your doctors weigh in

What we look at first

Four questions behind every crash claim

  • Who was at fault

Police reports, photos and what witnesses saw. Sometimes more than one driver shares the blame.

  • What your own policy covers

Your coverage can help even when the other driver is at fault, or has no insurance at all.

  • What your records show

Every visit, scan and therapy session, in order, so the claim tells the whole story.

  • How long you have

Deadlines exist, and they differ by state and by who was involved. We check theirs on day one.

Crash questions we hear most

The crash wasn’t that bad. Do I still need a lawyer?

Not always. A short call will tell you. If you’re hurt, missing work, or the insurer is already pushing a quick number, it’s worth a conversation.

What if the other driver had no insurance?

Your own policy may cover you for that. We read it with you and tell you what applies.

Who pays for my car?

Usually an insurer, either yours or theirs, and the paths are different. We explain which one fits your situation.

Not sure where to begin?

Tell us the date, the road, and how you feel today. That’s enough to start.

Talking with us costs nothing. If we take your case, the fee and any case costs are explained in writing before you sign.
